This recipe for Greek-Style Avocado Toast is seriously easy! Made with just 5 ingredients its ready in just minutes. We added Mediterranean flavors that take regular avo toast to a whole new level. This dish can be made for breakfast, brunch, lunch or even a quick snack.
The bread… we used a bakery loaf called “Seedsational” (how fun is that?!) from one of our favorite organic grocery stores, Sprouts. Funny fact, we actually don’t own a toaster! I used a stovetop skillet to toast the bread. Alternatively, a broiler or toaster oven can work depending on how thick you cut the slices.
Why we LOVE Avocados
- They are packed with vitamins and minerals
- High in antioxidants
- High in fiber which can aid in digestion
- Contain heart-healthy fatty acid (monounsaturated oleic acid)
- Can improve “bad” cholesterol levels
- They are absolutely DELICIOUS!
Making Greek-Style Avocado Toast
What gives this avocado toast its Greek-style flare is the avocado mixture. We mashed our avocados in a bowl, leaving some chunks and added in chopped kalamata olives, dill, and feta cheese. If you prefer your avocado to have a smoother texture you can blend them in a food processor prior to adding in the remaining ingredients to make it silky smooth.
