This recipe for Baked Feta has feta cheese at the forefront of the dish accompanied by kalamata olives it’s easy to make appetizer that’s full of flavor. With minimal prep time, the oven does all the work to create a perfect blend of creamy, salty and a little sweet. Served on its own with veggies or crackers for scooping this dish is sure to be a hit at your next gathering. Pair it with your favorite glass of wine and wind down after a long week.

It may seem intimidating when you look at the board prepared as a whole but let us break it down for you to make it super simple!
Most boards are comprised of a few key items 1. Cheese in a variety of textures from soft to hard and levels of flavor, 2. Cured meats (we limit or eliminate meats since they are not heath friendly), 3.Fruits (dried or fresh) & Veggies, 4. Spreads (from dips to jams), 5. Nuts, 6. Crackers or bread

Baked Feta
Ingredients
- 1 10 oz block of feta cheese
- 1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 1-½ cups pitted kalamata olives
- 1 tbsp honey
- fresh thyme
- 1 tsp dried oregano
Instructions
- Preheat oven 350 degrees F.
- Drizzle olive oil on the bottom of a small baking dish.
- Place the block of feta cheese in the center of the baking dish.
- Add the olives around the feta.
- Sprinkle the oregano over the cheese and olives and place sprigs of thyme on the feta.
- Drizzle everything with honey and more olive oil.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes. Turn oven to broil and bake until golden brown.
- Top with additional honey (optional). Serve immediately.
