Ingredients

  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk or non-dairy milk of choice
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp honey (use maple syrup, agave or dates to make Vegan)
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a 1 pint mason jar
  • Cover with the lid and shake well.
  • Put the jar in the refrigerator overnight, shaking occasionally (otherwise the seeds will clump together).
  • Top with additional nuts, cinnamon, and honey. Serve chilled.

Notes

If using dates as a sweetener, blend in a food processor with the almond milk first before adding in the chia seeds. This will ensure a smooth consistency.
