Grecian Tacos

A Greek twist on a traditional taco recipe, easy to make and ready in no time. All the flavors of a Chicken gyro on a tortilla!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 large boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 pkg whole wheat tortilla
  • 2 cups chopped cucumber
  • 2 cup sliced cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup sliced red onion
  • 1 cup chopped Kalamata olives
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • Tzatziki Sauce

Instructions
 

  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chicken breast and cook, browning a couple of minutes on each side.
  • Continue to cook for about 6 minutes.
  • Add water and spices to the pan, stir until coated, and continue to cook until chicken is thoroughly cooked.
  • In a preheated 200 degree oven heat tortillas on a baking sheet until warmed.
  • Place some chicken pieces in the center of a tortilla shell and top with cucumber, tomato, onion, Kalamata olives, and feta cheese. Top with a drizzle of tzatziki sauce.
