A combination of healthy oats, pumpkin puree (click here for our Easy Pumpkin Puree recipe), and warm spices including cinnamon and nutmeg that will wake up your taste buds! They are super delicious, require no baking and are ready in no time, with good-for-you ingredients. These tasty bites use ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry, and are a great little snack in the fall. We use mini chocolate chips too, just to satisfy that chocoholic craving in most of us. We are always looking for healthy snacks that take the edge off when you’re feeling that little bit of hunger in between meals, and this recipe fits the bill.
Helpful tip: make a double batch and freeze them so you’ll have a handy ready-made breakfast or snack when you have had one of those crazy busy weeks and can’t seem to find time to fit another thing in your schedule! We hope you will love these as much as we do!

Pumpkin Spice Balls
Ingredients
- 2 cups old fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup creamy natural peanut butter
- 1/2 cup pecans chopped
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chip
Instructions
- In a food processor add 1 1/2 cups oats, peanut butter, pecans, spices, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and pumpkin puree.
- Pulse until thoroughly mixed.
- Place pumpkin mixture in a bowl and stir in the rest of the oats and chocolate chips.
- Roll dough into small balls and place on a baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 1 hour to allow pumpkin balls to chill. Pumpkin Balls are now ready to enjoy!
- Pumpkin balls can be stored in the refrigerator in a sealed container for up to 1 week, or freeze them for a fast grab and go breakfast or snack.
